Produced by SingEx and presented by HSBC Singapore, Asean Connect 2018 is an Asean-focused thought leadership forum held on 1st March 2018, at MAX Atria @ Singapore EXPO.
Themed ‘Asean 4.0: The future of business’, the forum shared an insider’s look into experts’ analysis of the region’s economic roadmap – especially with Singapore as the Asean Chair in 2018 – and a curated network of like-minded Asean participants comprising movers-and-shakers, business leaders and innovators that can open up to new business ventures or investments in the region.
Asean 4.0: The future of business
Well positioned between the seismic shift of global powers, with China leading the boom of the borderless digital economy, blanketing a seemingly protectionist western economy, Asean stands to reap benefits from spill-over impact on the region’s economic growth, budding industry 4.0 and e-commerce landscape. How would Asean’s future business landscape look like? How will digitalisation set the stage for Asean’s innovative, growing and technology-savvy millennial population, and its drive to power the fourth industrial revolution in Asean?
“… Over time, I see Asean moving expertise across borders, moving knowledge across borders and that’s where tremendous opportunities lies.Prof Pushan DuttProfessor of Economics and Political Science, INSEAD
““Asean is going to become more important in the coming 10 years because of all the mega regional frameworks and concepts that are being developed. All these have one thing in common: Asean will play a leadership role. ”Dr Yukon HuangSenior Fellow, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace
