Christine anchors News Now, an hourly news bulletin on Channel NewsAsia. Given her breadth of knowledge in finance, she also often fronts Asia Business First.
Since joining on New Year’s Eve in 2014, Christine has helmed a series of breaking news events including the General elections in Taiwan, Myanmar and the Philippines, and the Brexit Referendum.
She often interviews world, business and thought leaders, such as the Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, former Prime Minister of New Zealand John Key, IMF Director for Asia Pacific, Changyong-Rhee.
Christine is a veteran in Singapore’s news industry, kicking off her TV career in 1995 with the national broadcaster, TCS. She was regularly on-air with stalwarts like Duncan Watt, reporting the headlines of the day like the Hong Kong Handover in 1997, to the passing of Princess Diana and Mother Theresa.
Christine is also a qualified Barrister in England & Wales, and practised in Singapore as an Advocate & Solicitor and as General Counsel, for over 18 years.
